The calanque de Sugiton is accessible from the University Center of Luminy or from the calanque de Morgiou.
We recommend the trail from the Luminy campus. Count about 1 hour of walking downhill, and 1h20 about on the way back.
The path passes through the Sugiton Pass. The descent to Sugiton begins with a small trail. Make a small gap of a few minutes to climb to the belvedere, because you will have a beautiful view overlooking the creek of Morgiou. Then resume your descent by the trail which continues by a concrete road with a strong inclination. At the last bend still in height, the creek of Sugiton is revealed with its two small coves and the island of the Torpedo boat.
It is called the island of the Torpedo boat because it resembles a military ship.
The two small coves are separated by a huge block of half-submerged rock, each has its own small pebble beach.
Just a little further, more isolated and difficult to access is the Calanque "fallen stones". It is a place frequented by naturists, but it was banned by the municipality following an accident, the place is dangerous and lives up to its name, rockfalls are frequent.
Sugiton has a very beautiful setting with high cliffs.
A must do.
