After the war, important excavations have to update an old Roman commercial warehouse including a set of dolia (big jar) which is the central point of the Museum Docks of the Romans.
It is largely devoted to trade in antiquity, very important activity for Marseille.
We discover thirty Roman dolia, large ceramic containers used for store wine or oil. But also of the remains that trace the history of maritime commerce through the objects from the underwater excavations carried out over 20 shipwrecks found in the Bay of Marseille
