The historic Marseilles Observatory, such as it is, on the plateau Longchamp date of 1860.
On the site of the historic Observatory, the "Andromeda" association regularly receives the public (general public, schools, groups) for tours, exhibitions, lectures, comments....

His private space includes:

• a planetariumassociation Andromeda has implemented the discovery of heaven sessions all audiences, on the site of the Marseille Observatory
• a room for temporary exhibitions to present the latest research on a topical
• the dome of the telescope of 26 cm in diameter which dates back to the 19th century
• the showroom housing the Foucault telescope of 80 cm in diameter. The Observatory has a large collection of ancient astronomical instruments including, provisionally, only the latter two items are exposed.

The Observatory is open to the public from 2 pm to 5.30 pm:

• Wednesday during the school year
• from Monday to Saturday during the school holidays (except summer)
• from Monday to Friday during the month of July
• Closed Sunday and holidays
• Closed in August.

The Observatory is open to schools, groups and centres aired daily, except Saturdays and Sundays.
Closed in August (according to the Moon and the time variable date).

The planetarium can receive only 35 people per session.
Children under 4 years old are not allowed.
