Recognized as a Historical Monument on January 14, 2013, THE VASARELY FOUNDATION and its 44 monumental works, hosts the families, adults, children, young people and schoolchildren in order to guide them in the discovery of the work of Victor Vasarely. In the heart of this building lumino-kinetics, young and old let themselves be transported by the architectonic integrations. Disturbing universe of illusion of optics, where shapes, colors and lines overlap, mix, they are inverted, leading children, like adults, into games of playful discoveries.

VICTOR VASARELY is a visual artist quite singular in the history of art of the twentieth century. Gaining notoriety during his lifetime, he distinguished himself in contemporary art by creating a new trend: optical art. His work is part of a great coherence, from the evolution of his graphic art to his determination to promote a social art, accessible to all.
