The Rooftop R2 Marseille of the Terrasses du Port

This is the place to be perched between sky and sea, on the rooftop of the terraces of the Port, with a panoramic view overlooking the Mediterranean.

The evenings are no longer reserved to the only all of Manhattan rooftop heated!

You will sing, dance, defy the laws of gravity, glass in hand, or not. We take an aperitif, we dine, and it is "fun"!... in head to head with the Mediterranean!

And on Sunday, the day the theme of the "hanging gardens", places are open all afternoon for brunch, sunbathe on the Chilean appointed, SIP some cocktails and also dance, of course, until late at night.

The bars and counters food share in 6 separate containers. Metal boxes specially created for places, laid on the roof, in response to the adjacent port.

A sharp programming

This season, the Rooftop offers a rich programming around 5 weekly appointments. In charge of the festivities, different collectives, Marseille and Parisian invest places to electrify the spot: Zig Zag, Rock' n Roll Circus, hanging gardens... Not to mention the many surprises and guests expected all summer.

The hanging gardens

Large numbers of electro headliners are waiting, among which, Luciano, Breakbot, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Carl Craig, Agoria, or even Busy P.
Seduced by the beauty of the site and the quality of sound and light equipment all responded present and planned to make vibrate the Marseille nights.

With a capacity ranging up to 1,800 people, the Rooftop mix genres and is multigenerational.

The R2 is the new temple of the Marseille art of living.

The in-between

Place of life, music and gastronomic scene, the R2 surprises by its arty dimension and cultural.

Internal link between the two entities refectory and Rooftop, the staircase has been completely revisited by the crew from street artists Showbrozers. The famous Dok and SkunkDog (Gallery David hero), Dare, Osko and Sexy sign a bold, colorful fresco and graffee to the former. An urban patina in reference to the tunnels of the Metro or new York in the 80's to the 90's, carried out using bombs, spray, markers and other collages for a 'ascent from hell to heaven"...
