The CHATEAU BEAUPIN is a mansion of the nineteenth century little known to the Marseillais, it houses within it since April 29, 2022 the restaurant "LE VIVIER".
Classified as a historical monument, this secret setting is the result of the work of Paul Sédille, the architect of Printemps in Paris.
With its 14 rooms close to the beaches and creeks, this castle is ideal to cut yourself off from the world!
LE VIVIER is the new Marseille restaurant created by Serge, Richard and Alexis Couet, who have invested the Chateau Beaupin. They settle there until October.
Very nice terrace and an outdoor kitchen based on brazier!
Chef Sidi Sali offers a menu of 4 starters, 5 courses, two of which are at
share, the fine fat prime rib of the Mézinc cut tomahawk and a
panel of sauces and sea bream (1kg) with a virgin sauce. From the entrance
for dessert, he uses the outdoor brazier, with which he realizes, by
example, a beet burrata in 3 textures, smoked in a brazier or
cooked seasonal vegetables. It also offers ceviches and
fish tartars, as at the Vivier du cours Julien.
Alexis Couet, passionate about natural wines, has selected vintages
worked in organic, in the appellations Côte Rôtie, Saint-Joseph,
Crozes-Hermitage...
The team is committed to the quality of the bread, selected at Pétrin couchette,
the new Marseille address of natural sourdough bread, served with
a butter with nori seaweed half homemade salt, and which goes perfectly
with cheeses. For desserts, the chef continues to use the
brazier and offers bananas flambéed with rum. The mythical cake at the
chocolate and lime zest from Vivier is also available at the
Château Beaupin.
