"The three Forts", is the name of the famous restaurant of the Sofitel Marseille Vieux Port, inspired by the three forts that monitor the entrance of the old Port of Marseiille, the Fort St. John, Fort Saint Nicolas, and what was the Fort of our Lady of the guard.

Located on the 7th and last floor of the luxury Hotel, it boasts a unique view of the never-ending ballet of ships entering or leaving the old Port, a panoramic view * to cut you the breath that extends from our Lady of the guard at L'estaque, and you can admire as well from the terrace of the inner room whose decoration contemporary design is inspired of the marine world. In both cases, you will have the impression of being at the table aboard a luxury liner.
* This view, largely inspired by artists like Cezanne, Dufy, Braque, Monticelli or Renoir over the centuries.

And it's a kitchen Mediterranean version "haute couture" than the head, Dominique Frerard, master chef of France and a member of the Culinary Academy, invites you to enjoy at his table.
Signature: A predilection for unexpected alliances of Mediterranean salts and spices. He likes object in the same plate him cute and soft, warm and cold, while preserving the strength and finesse of perfumes. In order to always bring authentic creative touch to his kitchen, he does not hesitate to associate new ingredients to the Provençal tradition to offer his vision of the Mediterranean cuisine.
