AUFFO*
The people of Marseille knew this address under the name of Bernard BONNET's "ÉPUISETTE", a famous marine institution located at the mouth of the emblematic Vallon des Auffes, between the Catalans and Malmousque, in the Endoume district. The restaurant, which watches the comings and goings of the small fishing boats, has an exceptional view of the cove of Marseille and the Frioul islands in the background.
Today, it is Coline Faulquier, finalist of TOP CHEF in 2016 and Michelin star for her previous restaurant "SIGNATURE", who takes up the torch.
On the plate too, the Mediterranean Sea is the mistress of the place, and the mainly marine creatures are declined around a plant-based cuisine turned towards the sea.

* Auffo" which means "Auffes" in Provençal; the auffes are pellets that are used to make ropes; today, there are no more rope manufacturers, but there are still the fishermen's huts, each one more colorful than the last, and it is the ideal place to come and admire the pointus, these typical Marseille fishing boats!
