The Beaches of the Estaque

It is in the mythical district of Estaque that the only beaches of the northern districts are located.

Three small beaches that follow each other just after the Port of Estaque.

Lava Beach, Estaque Beach, and CorbièreBeach. The water is particularly clean, and you will have a magnificent view of Marseille.

You are close to the village of Estaque! So between two baths, take a tour of the village that has been and still is a source of inspiration for many artists, painters and writers, it also served as the setting for the film "Marius and Jeannette" by Robert Guédiguian. The Estaque has retained its provençal village authenticity.

Stop for a moment on the harbour to taste the famous Chichis Frégis, or the panisses. Finally push the door of one of the many restaurants to discover all the flavors of this unique area of Marseille. The port is also the meeting place for all sailing enthusiasts, it is also a very famous seaport.
