The beach of the Bay of monkeys *, also known as "Beach at the end of the world", is located in the Goudes at the level of the Cap Croisette, facing the impressive Island Mayor, who marks the entry into the Bay of Marseille.
Indeed, it is difficult to reach: from Les Goudes, continue the road to the Cap Croisette, parking improvised among the rocks. Continue on foot by the stairs carved into the rock, there are still about 10 minute walk.
You reach a small sandy beach lined with huts and protected from the open sea by a breakwater. It is narrow but very nice because the place is preserved with its typical white rocks of the massif of the Calanques.
Go during the week as the weekend she is very busy.
* For the record, this Bay is known as the "Bay of the monkeys", as it was a hotbed of smuggling and asked the children to be silent as monkeys.
