The Marrou House, it's a family story!
A large family that comes from Queyras, moved to Marseille in 1902 and opened "the cheese dairy of the Alps", first street Fontange, before moving in 1929 to the 2 bd yawning not far from Castellane. It is from 1981 Marrou offers prepared dishes, composed salads and cold cuts from various origins. And in 1982, Laurence Marrou, only daughter of Jean Pierre and Simone Marrou, marries Laurent de Buzonniere. These are the current owners.
Laurent de Buzonniere opens in 1992 a store Street paradise specializes in dishes caterers while offering a wide sample of cheeses, and proposes to organize the receptions of individuals. It transforms in 2002 Confectionery "silver tower" in a bakery, and in 2003, he renovated completely the cheese factory of the Bd Baille and actually a great cheese stores. And things continue to accelerate, since in 2015, with the opening of two new stores: one in the village of the Docks in the Joliette, the other at 370 avenue of the Prado - angle Street Jean Mermoz.
Cheese shop and caterer, Marrou of Boulevard Baille shop which is the historic address, offers a hundred references of cheeses and charcuterie sweeping regional local, Corsican and Italian (the Rove goat, Cheese Parmeggiano Reggiano, Saint-Félicien mother Richard...).
There is also cooked dishes (Provençal stew, veal with olives, pistou soup, pot of the fisherman, cannelloni...) which vary over the days and seasons. For special occasions there are also exceptional products: smoked salmon wild and Norwegian, caviar Beluga, Kaviari products, fatty liver, Martigues Bottarga...
The success and reputation of the Marrou House for more than a century, is excellence and selection of the best purely artisanal products from the best origins.

With more than 100 Weddings per season and benefits for companies and individuals throughout the year, teaching Marrou became a reference in the region. From Marseille to Cannes to Toulon and Saint-Tropez, the teams move events to offer turnkey services.
And the tradition perpetuates because two of the four children of Laurent de Buzonniere have already joined the company with the desire to continue this adventure around gastronomy and great moments of life.
